Kilroot Rec II finished a glorious season with a five nil win against a poor Holy Wood Rec II team

  

undefeated at Beltoy all season thirteen league matches and two cup matches a great achievement.

  

Kilroot scored four goals in the first half against Holywood who were reduced to ten men from the

  

20 th minute when the referee dismissed a forward for correcting his wrong decisions.

  

Cole scored first goal .Ryan Clokey scored the second.

  

Jamie Wright scored the third from a corner ball.

  

Fourth goal the goal of the match involving six players Phillip Meek, Jamie Sterling, Chris Blainey, Jamie Wright, Wesley Steele  and Phillip Meek finishing it off.

  

Cole, Meek, Johnston, and Wright all squandered gift chances against a stand keeper.

  

Second half Ryan Clokey replaced by Robert Kennedy.

  

The second half was like a training session for Kilroot  with lots of possession and not a lot of ideas

  

Another sub for Kilroot Jamie Wright replaced by Jason Cooper. 63 minutes.

  

70 minutes the introduction of Darren Todd who replaced the very unhappy Ricky Johnston always greats a little stir.

  

Todd's first touch of the ball he picked up a clearance from Priestly  and from 40 yards  he lobbed the Holywood goal keeper

3E champions Immaculata II visited Beltoy to play Kilroot Rec II and left with the record gone

  

loosing 4 goals to 2.

  

In a pulsating match Immaculata exposed Kilroots of side trap to take the lead on 25 minutes 0-1

  

Kilroot quick to replay Dummigan played in Jamie Wright to equalise 1-1.

  

55 minutes a three man move Todd, Johnston cross Dummigan side footed into goals 2-1.

  

59 minutes Jamie Wright missed a sitter to increase Kilroots lead  from a Dummigan cross.

  

62 minutes a long clearance from Priestly found Dummigan who muscled his way past the defenders to give the young keeper no chance 3-1

  

Kilroot sub Jason Cooper replaced the injured Jamie Wright 63 mins.

  

Immaculata pulled a goal back coming from a corner kick 3-2

  

Immaculata had Kilroot on the back foot for long periods but the defenders ruggedly stuck to their task.

  

Kilroots second sub Danny Wright replaced Andrew (yoyo) Benson 80 mins.

  

Kilroots third sub Philip Meek the very unhappy Ricky Johnston 85 minutes.

  

86 minutes Kilroots Jason Cooper had his run into the box abruptly halted by the young keeper referee pointed to thespot

  

Barry Meek sent the keeper the wrong way and seal the game for Kilroot and inflict the first defeat on Immaculata II 4-2
